CSI in a few words

The Center for the Sociology of Innovation (CSI) is a research center of Mines ParisTech and CNRS (UMR 9217). The CSI is well known for developing Actor-Network Theory (ANT) which renewed Science and Technology studies. Today its research focuses on the development and the role of science and technology in society.

2015 Le Monde Prize for University Research in Humanities and Social sciences

PA Juven PrixLeMonde Nov15Pierre-André Juven is one of the five prize-winners of the 2015 Le Monde Prize for University Research in Humanities and Social sciences awarded for his PhD thesis “Health that counts? Costs and hospital rates in the French hospital policy”, supervised by Vololona Rabeharisoa and defended in October 2014 at CSI – Mines ParisTech. The award was presented at a ceremony organized at the newspaper’s premises on November 18th, 2015.
